Feelers!

Guess who flew in to show off its feelers one evening ? I was amazed at the length of those feelers! Aren't they impressive?! I captured these images with my phone before it decided to say goodbye.

Came across this one in the garden as I was trying to photograph a mustard yellow butterfly. If you click on the picture you'll see how beautifully coloured it is.

Happy Monday!! Hope you all have a good week!

The last bug looks like a type of stink bug, or shield bug. What is the bug with the long, long feelers? They are amazing!

Hi!!! Lovely pictures (again!!!) Just helping out here, the first insect is a longhorn beetle (chrysomeloidea), they're really quite impressive and the largest member of the beetle species is from this family. I'm not sure precisely what species yours is though, you may have to refer to a proper coleopterist for that.

The second bug is of the order hemiptera. It is one of the shield bugs (heteroptera) though again, I'm not quite sure exactly which species.

have a nice day.
