Lizards, again!!

Readers of both my blogs will be familiar with the many lizard pictures that I take. Most of them look pretty similar (see the one on my sidebar) but last month I was amused to see the clever way in which this baby lizard was sheltering from the rain. The photo was taken right after a sudden shower.

That is really cute. Coincidentally, I was looking at a lizard photo I took and wondering whether to post it...It wasn't doing funny stunts like yours. :)

Incredible that you were able to capture his photo!

This is lovely, Kanak. When I was in Greece last summer, I came across a lizard almost invisibly 'wrapped' around a circular stone. Again, I suppose it wanted shelter, though perhaps from predators.

They are the masters of camoflauge!!! If you hadn't told me, I never would have seen the second one. How do you find such great things?

Facing downward is the right approach, I'd say. Smart little dude--and great shot!

Wonderful camouflage! How well it has guarded itself from the rain too!
