Weekend Reflections/ A Bunch Of Blooms

Today's image is a bunch of blooms from my backyard. It's a variety of clerodendrum/ C. colebrookianum which grows wild in our region. A tiny vase holds the showy blooms on my bathroom shelf. The mirror completes this meme's look.:)

My thanks to James for hosting Weekend Reflections.

Weekend Reflections/Rose Of Sharon

Welcome to Weekend Reflections! As I opened the window this morning, the Rose of Sharon showed up on the pane. I had to look again as the reflection nearly fooled me!

Weekend Reflections/Blue And Green Dragonfly

Today's reflection photo is from a dragonfly I found flying inside the house at night. It fell a few times so I gently placed it on an artificial plant (below). Then I took it outside and placed in on the mussaenda plant. I was amazed at the colours! The frontal view in the second picture which was incidentally taken first, showed no indication of blue and green dragonfly resplendence! Please click on the picture to see the details.

Weekend Reflections

As Iwas photographing my orchids today, I realized that the same windows in my last post looked completely different. Today being a hot day, the blueness of the sky and those same palm trees wear a different look .

Skyscape On A Windowpane

The changing colours of the sky reflected on our bedroom window. A coconut tree, a branch of a guava tree and a new structure coming up...all reflected on the pane. And of course, the sky!

Weekend Reflections/Wild Duck

Today's photo is from a pond in the outskirts of the city. It was late in the afternoon and the light was fading. Suddenly we saw this little duck and although I clicked away, what I got was more of the reflection in the water.
